Sustainability Week is an annual conference for sustainable development of the cities, economies, and communities in South Africa organized by Green Building South Africa.
It is scheduled to hold from October 24th - 25th 2024 at The Westin Hotel, Convention Square, Lower Long St, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town, 8000, South Africa.
The conference will feature national and local government and private sector leaders with the aim to endorse a detailed set of actions, across sub-sectors that can be implemented immediately to advance the sustainable development of our cities, economies and communities in South Africa.
Sustainability Week Africa will provide an opportunity for rapid sustainability development and also redirect the new development to take place within the urban master plan which will attract investment and as well lead to economic progress.
The conference aims to make appropriate policy frameworks that flow through all service delivery departments into practical approaches and projects that make the city more livable and more conducive to business.
Also, it will present technical solutions to the challenges faced by cities, it will as well contribute to poverty eradication, social and economic transformation.
Through this event, Sustainability Week, the local government will get the needful assistance to work together in order to fight inequality and create wealth and jobs.
