Maker Faire Cairo

Maker Faire Cairo is an annual technology and craft event held on the 22nd of October 2022 at the Smart Village, Alexandria Desert Road, Giza Governorate Cairo, Egypt, and is organized by Fab Lab Egypt in collaboration with the American Center Cairo.

It is the largest gathering of the Lakers in Egypt and the Arab nations as well as all the people who make anything in their hands in all fields technology, robots, crafts, different arts from the first simple crafts to manufacturing cars in Egypt.

The main aim of this event is s to entertain, inform and connect geeks, artists, engineers, craftsmen, entrepreneurs and many other categories of people to grow the community through workshops, sessions, projects, exhibitions, performances and lots more.

This event will accommodate over 11,761 attendees, 400 makers, numerous hands-on activities and many speeches from 30 potential speakers from Detroit, Atlanta, Berlin, Paris, Rome and several other countries across the globe.

It will provide an inspiring series of talks and hands-on activities to enhance skills. The exhibitions that will be involved will entertain visitors with shows and competitions to have fun with your friends.

A platform will be provided for attendees to enrich their inner artists by engaging in carpentry, pottery, sketching, doodling, painting, origami, puppets, mosaic, and lots more.
