4TH REPUBLIC

The 4TH REPUBLIC is a political drama movie written and directed by Ishaya Bako; the story begins after the gruesome murder of Mabel King’s campaign manager.

The gubernatorial aspirant challenges the victory of the incumbent, Idris Sani for her mandate.

While governor Sani's associate, St. James, Ike's Law School rival, and Danladi attempt to subvert the course of justice by eliminating witnesses, King is supported by her loyal aide Ike, and Sikiru's daughter Bukky.

The 4TH REPUBLIC is a political thriller movie which tells the story of a governorship candidate.

The film follows a hotly contested election and one woman’s quest to take back the seat she believes she rightfully won against all odds.

There are many factors at play, such as the violence that mars our polls, the new trend of fighting for justice at the tribunals, and the roles society assigns to women who seek powerful positions.

4TH REPUBLIC will feature Bimbo Manuel, Enyinna Nwigwe, Ihuoma Linda Ejiofor, Kate Henshaw, Sani Muazu, Sifon Okoi and Preach Bassey, Yakubu Mohammed and it is directed by Ishaya Bako.

The movie is written by Emil B. Garuba and Zainab Omaki and it is co-produced by Griot Studios Ltd and Amateur Heads Productions with Bem Pever and Ishaya Bako as the director.
