Big Brother Nigeria is a part of Big Brother Africa and season 8 of this reality show which starts around July every year on TV (DSTV Channel 198, GOtv channel 29, and Showmax).
Application form for 2023 is now available, and auditions are set to take place from 6th - 22nd October 2022, while the show launches in 2023. It is open to youths who are 21 years of age and above.
The reality TV show lasts for 11 weeks (78 days) and participants are strictly Nigerians. After a series of auditions, 26 individuals/housemates were allowed to fully participate in the show. Each week one person is evicted by vote till the last man standing emerges.
The winner is expected to go home with 90 million Naira and above, split into cash price, a sponsored trip, a car, cash in bitcoins, and abeg digital wallet as well as a two-bedroom apartment, as the case may be.
The show is expected to start anytime around July 2023 and ends anytime in October 2023 when the winner for this year's edition will be announced.
The criteria for participants to be selected is that they must be over 21 years of age by June 1st, 2023, and have a valid international passport.
