The 36th Enugu International Trade Fair and show is expected to hold from April 4th - 14th 2025 at the Permanent Site, International Trade Fair Complex, Golf Course, G.R.A, Enugu Nigeria. The 36th edition is expected to hold towards the Easter holidays which is April 2025.
The theme for this year’s trade fair was picked to address the imperative of value addition and links that would help to speed up and support investment, inflow, industrial activities, and local content development.
It will accommodate individuals and businesses from both far and wide, will provide exhibitors with an opportunity to meet a large number of investors, buyers, wholesalers, and more, and will also provide visitors with a wide variety of innovative products to choose from.
It is an event that creates a conducive environment where the latest industrial and technological innovations can be demonstrated.
The fair usually focuses on some key areas of investment and business in the Nigerian economy that calls for national attention and policy initiative.
The Enugu International Trade Fair normally holds in the first quarter of every year and it is planned and organised (by the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines, and Agriculture) with the full assistance and cooperation of the federal and state government.
It welcomes all aspects of economic and business activities in Nigeria and also provides a special market for suppliers, buyers, manufacturers, and users of goods and services, including an avenue for product, investment, and corporate promotion.
It is a unique event because it provides a forum where local products can be compared with foreign ones in order to attain the qualitative economic development of the nation and for strong competition.
The Enugu International Trade Fair showcases a wide variety of international and Nigerian-made products from all forms of businesses such as telecommunication, manufacturers, and other business services.
The fair is proposed to refocus attention and also align with the effort of re-engineering the economy of the nation through improved private sector participation with applicable policy design and measures that would aid to sustain free enterprise culture.
The president of the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA), Sir Emeka Udeze, disclosed that more than 50 countries and companies have so far indicated interest to participate in the 2020 International Trade Fair.
Some of the countries he mentioned include; China, India, Ghana, Cameroon, Taiwan, South Africa, Vietnam, and Malaysia, while local firms include; Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporations (NDIC), Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
The fair will indulge businesses and individuals from far and wide and will also provide an avenue for the exhibitors to meet a large number of buyers, investors, wholesalers, and others.
The fair will also provide a wide variety of innovative products for visitors to select from. The Enugu International Trade Fair displays selections of Nigerian and internationally made products from every form of business like manufacturers, business services, and telecommunication.
