Kano International Trade Fair

43rd Kano International Trade Fair event is an annual business exhibition that will take place to yet to be announced date between 22nd November and 3rd December 2022 (the date might still change), it will hold at the Trade Fair Complex, Zoo Road, Kano and is being organised by the Kano Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Kano International Trade Fair started in the year 1959. The fair continues to hold annually as well as regional trade fair to date.

The trade show will attract well over two million visitors with participants coming from Nigerian firms, multinational, foreign-based manufacturing/other service providers. 

Kano International Trade Fair is a platform that provides opportunities for participants to display their products and interchange ideas in the areas of business promotion and development.

The fair also helps businessmen and women to build business contact and relationship with partners from within and outside the country for economic development.

Kano International Trade Fair is an exhibition place where manufacturers come together to test their skills by coming along with their products in competition among the existing brands.

Kano state is strategically situated at the centre of Northern Nigeria. The state has served as a major entrance to the nation and also as the southern hub of trans-saharan trade path to the countries.

It serves as a regional trade hub servicing a market of more than 300 million people situated in the northern Nigeria, nearby countries such as Niger, Chad, Cameroun as well as across the Sahel economic zone/North Africa.

Kano city also hosts over 400 manufacturing companies, seed processing, rice milling, animal feed production, and textiles.

Kano has an international airport, The Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, which has been the major airport for international visitors to the trade fair event and it has been active since 1936

In 2010, the World Bank ranked Kano as 8^th in Nigeria in terms of doing business, ahead of Lagos, Enugu, Kaduna, Abuja, and Calabar. 

The international Trade fair gives the manufacturers and business services companies the opportunity not to only get in touch with their customers but also to provide them with a platform to introduce their new services, showcase and sell their products.
