Kwara State Local Government Areas

Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State is located in the town of Afon and situated in the western part of the state and the area covers the districts of Afon, Yowere, Owode, Onive, Odo-Ode, Aboto, Ogbondoroko, Reke, Ila-Oja, Otteh, Ago Oshin and others.

Baruten Local Government Area is one of the local government areas in Kwara state with the headquarters in the town of Kosubosu and the council is made up of districts and villages of Baruten, Boriya, Gure, Gwasoro, Gwanara, Kenu, Kpaura and others.

Edu Local Government Area is situated in the town of the Lafiagi and local government area consists the districts of Lafiagi, Tsaragi and Isonga.

Ilorin East Local Government Area is headquarter is located in the town of Oke-Oyi and the area comprises districts of Magaji Are, Iponrin, Ibagan, Agbeyangi, Gbadamu, Gambari, Marafa Maya, Ile-Apa, Oke-Ose, Alalubosa and Zango.

Ilorin South Local Government Area has its administrative headquarters in Fufu town and the council covers the districts of Akanbi, Bologun-Fulani, Okaka and Oke-Ogun.

Pategi Local Government Area of Kwara state is situated in town of Pategi and the local government area consists districts of Pategi, Lade and Kpada.
