The application for the 45th edition closed around May 2024, and the grand finale for the winner's announcement took place in December 2024, with Shatu Garko emerging as the 45th Miss Nigeria.
The organizing committee for Miss Nigeria contests has extended the reign of the present Miss Nigeria winner till the first quarter of 2024 (April and May), when a new queen will be crowned.
