Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant

Miss Nigeria beauty contest is an annual beauty, intelligence, and art contest on positive attributes of Nigerian women, which started in 1957 and is typical during the last quarter of every year at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, Nigeria.

The application for the 45th edition closed around May 2024, and the grand finale for the winner's announcement took place in December 2024, with Shatu Garko emerging as the 45th Miss Nigeria.

The organizing committee for Miss Nigeria contests has extended the reign of the present Miss Nigeria winner till the first quarter of 2024 (April and May), when a new queen will be crowned.

Miss Nigeria contest is an annual beauty pageant event that took off in 1957 and was designed to showcase beauty and intelligence, boost confidence, and expose other potentials in Nigerian women.

Participants include models and all within the age limit who think they have all it takes to be the winner.

Miss Nigeria beauty pageant constantly witnesses many dignitaries across Nigeria and some parts of the world.

Participants dress in various attires, including traditional wears, gowns, swimming wear, etc., and catwalk on the stage to the spectators' cheers and the Nigerian culture's display. 

There are always criteria for determining who emerges as the winner. Such measures are always worked out by the panel of judges or the event organizers.

The competition typically comprises talent, traditional interviews,s and others. Each selected contestant will participate in these competition categories, and scores will be given for each part of the competition.

Pageant Coach: As a contestant, getting a pageant coach is necessary to become a beauty queen. A pageant coach can have an understanding of Pageants or a former pageant winner.

A pageant coach will help provide the contestant with some tips required to win the competition. The pageant coach will also teach how to act, look, and walk properly throughout the match.

Talent Selection: talent display is one of the categories in picking a winner. So in selecting a talent to be displayed, choosing the one you are very good at is essential.

Anybody who wants to apply for the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant must be
